Shangai Chanel
This was the week of spectacular shows. On Thursday night Chanel debut is pre-fall collection with an extravagant runway show in Shangai. Aimed to catch the imagination of the new Chinese luxury consumer there was a video presentation before the show shot by Karl Lagerfeld; in it he envisions the trip to asia Coco Chanel would have made. Madame Chanel gets a chance to tell Chinese people the quilting of the Chanel 2.55 was their invention.
